I cant remember the exact date of when this happened, but I know I was young. Maybe eight, nine, or even ten. (I'm 14 now) however, I remember almost everything else about that moment. I was riding my bike with my brother around the community pool. We circled the area and were heading back towards the direction of our house, when I saw an elderly woman. She looked like she was middle eastern. Indian or Pakistani. She wore a red sari with gold on it.
I had no clue who she was at the time, which was odd considering I know almost everyone in my neighborhood. Behind the woman, however, was something that shocked me so much I would've spat out soup had I any in my mouth. It was me!!! I had no doubt in my mind that it was. The only distinctions were that she was a little older and had dark red hair. We made eye contact and stared at each other for the short while that I passed by. Once we passed, I asked my brother if he saw what I did. He gave me his **you've lost it** look and said he had no clue what I was talking about.
I had forgotten about it for quite sometime now. I was reading a book by Sylvia Browne and came across a section on doppelgangers which jolted me into memory then shock. Lately, I've been thinking to dye my hair a dark red. The elderly sari-wearing woman also moved in along with her family not too long back and takes walks to the park with her grandchildren which is right beside the community pool! Does anyone know what the heck is going on?
