The Shadow People

This is a very hinky subject for most but I know it to be true. When I was but a boy unknowing to anything supernatural I encountered about 5 of them at once.

I was about 5 or 6 roughly when my cousin from VA came to visit my grandfather and we didn't have great accommodations so naturally I had to share so I slept on the top bunk that night. Sometime in the middle of the night that night I had woken up in an almost cold sweat but also a bit warm when I noticed something out of the corner of my eye and that's when I saw them - 5 of them standing side by side in a row just staring at me. I thrust the covers over my face and eventually fell back to sleep.

Ever since then I don't know I just always felt kind of off about a lot of things, but that moment drew me into more questionable practices like trying to summon demons, talk to them, interact with them and such. One night I was about 16 me and my friend made a circle, said some stuff (can't remember word for word) but I think he closed the circle wrong for on my way back it was like something had reached inside me and grasped my backbone and started scratching at my feet and slowly it moved to my ankles.

Then there was this feeling like pins and needles all over. I couldn't move and then just went numb, then nothing. There's more but it gets creepier from here and I don't really like to talk about it beyond this.
